The Power To Work Harder
Under the hood, the CT660 is powered by Cat CT Series Vocational Truck Engines with ratings specific to vocational truck applications and horsepower/torque combinations to tackle the toughest jobs. Cat CT11 and CT13 engines are available now; and coming in 2012, the CT15 will offer an even bigger power boost.
All CT660 engines are built with a Compacted Graphite Iron (CGI) block that saves weight -- up to 500 pounds -- so you can maximize payload. Stronger than standard iron, the block provides unprecedented reliability, durability and years of service life. Plus, each engine incorporates an advanced EGR system with the latest in common-rail fuel injection technology, air management systems, piston combustion bowl design and electronic controls.

To help you keep your uptime high and operating costs low, we've built dozens of efficient maintenance and repair features into the CT660 - giving technicians and drivers easy access to key service points. Most require little or no special tooling.
*Headlight bulbs and windshield wiper blades can be replaced in minutes without any tools
*Coolant, washer reservoirs, and air filters are accessible from ground level for easy maintenance and replacement -- no special tools required
*Modular design of hte grille and three-piece bumper makes it simple to replace a damaged component -- quickly, cost effectively and without any special tools
*Mirrors are cowl mounted for greater stability, eliminating time spent readjusting or retightening mirror bolts
