Services Commitment is a promise of reliability exclusive to Cat® Customer Value Agreements (CVAs). It guarantees that when you need parts or repairs, we will deliver with speed and accountability. While a CVA offers a broad range of ownership benefits, this guarantee is the specific pledge regarding turnaround time and availability.

This commitment removes the guesswork from your operation, helping safeguard your valuable assets and time. It isn’t just service support — it’s an assurance that we’re as invested in your uptime as you are.

Our promise protects your fleet with:

  • Parts Availability: Whether you handle your own equipment service or rely on our technicians, parts should be available for your needs.  For machines covered by any level CVA, you have our enhanced commitment to make available common repair parts by the time you need them. If not, you’ll receive Cat Credits in the amount of the part, up to $1,000.*
  • Service Repairs: For machines covered by a Performance CVA, we provide a guaranteed completion date and back our word with a $1,000* Cat Credit if we miss our mark. Whether it’s a 2-day turnaround for common fixes or a complex repair, we deliver the scheduling certainty you need from a true partner. 

*Cat Credits are valid for two years, issued within 2–3 weeks, and can be used for parts, service, work tools, rentals, and purchases from authorized Cat Dealers. Cat Credits cannot be used for new machine sales.
